Unique manuscript describing events in the colony Nieuw Nederland from the years 1641 to 1646. In combination with an article by J.W. Schulte Nordholt, published in 1966, it gives a good idea of the perceptions of a colonist from this period. The document is composed of a number of quires/sections and numbered loose pages. Four pages are lost (29 to 32). The overall condition of the document is good but it is fragile.
