For this site, the ‘preservation microfilms’ that were made within the scope of the Metamorphosis Programme for the conservation of national paper heritage have been used. Scanning was done using these films. The texts on the scans were made legible by means of OCR software. Due to a shortage of funds, the OCR files have not yet been corrected.
The Multatuli Museum’s pamphlet collection is a ‘live’ collection. This implies that the collection continues to grow through new acquisitions. Therefore, the number of pamphlets available to the public at the museum exceeds the number that have been digitized for viewing on the site of the Memory of the Netherlands.
