The MuMa is greatly appreciated by the Moluccan community for its intermediary function. The younger generations are especially mindful of the preservation of Moluccan history.

The MuMa collects photos for the photo archive, and makes recently acquired photographs immediately accessible to the entire community. As a consequence, many people order prints of their 'own' camp, or those of family members.

One of the main points of attention is the tracking down of names of people in the photographs. And yet the word 'unknown' still appears regularly in the descriptions. If you should recognize people or have any other additions, the MuMa kindly requests you to pass this on to the department of information:
