Women in action! > Economic independence

Unemployement pay also for married women! (1976) The right to paid labour and economic independence for women was an important issue to the women’s movement. Feminists circulated posters that were supposed to make people conscious of the subordinated position of women. Action groups in the 1980s gave special attention to the high unemployment rate among women and the unequal position held by women in the social security system.
